Permits for Documentaries and Short Films

For productions involving public spaces, markets, or streets, shooting permits from Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality are required. Heritage site access — Hagia Sophia surroundings, the Grand Bazaar interior, Topkapi Palace grounds — requires Ministry of Culture clearance. Lead times are typically five to ten working days.

Post-production
Our in-house post-production covers colour grading on DaVinci Resolve, sound design and mix, music licensing (library and original composition), and deliverables in DCP, ProRes, H.264, and broadcast formats. We work to festival deadlines and can turn around a short film grade within three to five days when required.
Do you produce co-productions with international partners?
Yes. PAM Istanbul can act as the Turkish co-production partner, managing local permits, crew, locations, and Turkish funding body documentation. We are familiar with Eurimages and Creative Europe co-production requirements and can assist with the Turkish element of international co-production agreements.
